この授業は、初めてドイツ語を学ぶ学習者を対象としています。「読む」「書く」「聞く」「話す」の四技能を統合的に伸ばすことを目標と し、特に 映像を活用した学習 に重点を置きます。実際のコミュニケーションに近い形でリスニングスキルを身につけ、語彙を学習できるよう設計されています。語彙学習は 反 復と定着 を意識し、会話やライティングで実際に活用できるように進めます。また、文法の理解も並行して行い、正確で効果的な表現力を身につけることを目指します。

学生はすでに英語を学んでいるため、文法の説明や語彙の比較などの理解を助ける際に 補助的に英語を活 用 することがありますが、授業の主な言語はドイツ語です。

This course is designed for beginners learning German for the first time. The goal is to develop all four language skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—in an integrated way. Special emphasis is placed on video-based learning, allowing students to acquire listening skills and vocabulary in a context close to real-life communication. Vocabulary learning is structured with repetition and retention in mind, ensuring that students can actively use it in conversations and writing. Grammar comprehension is also incorporated to help students build accurate and effective language skills. Since students have already learned English, it will be used occasionally as a reference to support understanding, especially for grammar explanations and vocabulary comparisons.

1. ドイツ語の基礎文法を理解し、短い文章だけでなく、基本的な構成を持つ作文ができるようになる。

2. (日本語を含めて)基本的な語学力の理解を深める。

3. ドイツの文化や社会について知識を得る。
   (Gain knowledge about German culture and society, also for support class.)

4. 基本的な語彙は、Duolingoなどのオンラインツールを活用して学習する。
   (Basic vocabulary will be trained using online learning tools such as Duolingo also for support class.)

5. この授業はデジタルリテラシーを高め、効果的な学習を促進する。
   (This course will enhance digital literacy and support effective learning, also for support class.)

6. 言語を意識した翻訳ツール (辞書を含む) の適切な活用ができるようになる。
   (Students will develop an awareness of language when using translation tools, including dictionaries, and learn to use them appropriately.)

7. ポートフォリオを活用して、自分の学習プロセスを振り返り、進捗を記録できるようになる。
   (Students will use a portfolio to reflect on their learning process and track their progress.)

8. ドイツ語の学習を通じて、新しい学習方法や戦略を身につける。
   (Students will develop new learning methods and strategies through studying German, also for support class.)

Course Methodology (授業方法)

In addition to the video course, a textbook focusing on interactive grammar usage will be introduced this year. Grammar patterns will be practiced in communicative contexts, allowing students to learn grammar through interaction rather than isolated drills. Students will engage in guided comprehension activities, structured exercises, and written tasks to reinforce their learning. The course also incorporates digital tools to support vocabulary retention and grammar practice.

授業方法 

この授業は、ビデオを活用した学習を中心に構成されており、リスニング・リーディング・構造化された演 習を通じてドイツ語のスキルを身につけます。ビデオコースの語彙や文法パターンを基礎として、ドイツ語とドイツ文化の理解を深めます。

今年度はビデオコースに加え、文法を対話的に学ぶことを重視した教科書を 導入します。文法のパターンは、会話の中での実践を通じて学習し、単なる暗記ではなく、実際 のコミュニケーションの中で使える形で習得します。学習者は、ガイド付きの読解活動、構造化された演習、ライティング課題を 通じて理解を深めます。また、デジタルツールを活用し、語彙の定着や文法練習をサポートしま す。

この授業では、映像を通じてドイツ語に触れながら、実際のコミュニケーションで使えるスキルを身につけます。語彙や文法を覚えるだけで なく、それら をどのように活用するかが重要です。ポートフォリオを活用し、自分の学習の進捗を確認しながら、積極的に取り組んでください。昨年度から授業内容が改訂さ れており、リピーターの方にも適した内容になっています。
In this course, you will engage with German through video-based learning while developing practical communication skills. Learning vocabulary and grammar is important, but knowing how to use them effectively is the key. Use your portfolio to track your progress, and take an active approach to your learning. The course has been revised since last year, making it suitable for repeaters as well.
